My Cozy MKIV O-540
On May 23rd, 1998 I received my copy of Nat Puffers Cozy MKIV. I started out
immediately getting my shop in order and building a large workbench. Tools that
I needed was sourced from e-bay and local second hand stores. I also built a
fiberglass closet from which I could unroll the glass UNI & BID onto my
workbench that doubled as a cutting surface. I never had the pleasure of using
an Epoxy Pump. If I ever build again I would surely get one.
Important considerations:
- Good workshop layout saves you trouble later on.
- Stick to the plans - modifications and
altering the design leads to frustration and unforeseen difficulties.
- Keep a well organized Build Log.
- Document your building schedule and achievements with accompanying photos.
- Join as many Community Forums as possible.
- Discuss your problems and ask questions with other builders.
- Visit projects in progress as much as you can.
- Get your family's support up front.
- There are many time tried and proven enhancements - consider them
necessary.
